Our Services

The n. St’át’imc Primary Care Centre (n. SPCC) is a place where multi-disciplinary teams provide health care in an integrated and holistic way that honours and integrates the culture, traditions, and aspirations of the northern St’át’imc people.

Our current services include:

Traditional Wellness

Our Traditional Wellness Coordinator supports access to Elders, traditional St’át’imc teachings and culturally safe space across various programs, including referral pathways to SOHS and any other traditional health services available in the region.

Allied Services

Mental Health Clinicians and Wellness Navigators are available to provide services.

Virtual Care

All six Communities currently have telehealth units installed; however, there will also be telehealth unit at the Main St. location as well.

Outreach Services

The n. SPCC team can travel to the Communities of Tsal̓álh, Xwísten, T’ít’q’et, Sekw’el’was, Xaxli’p and Ts’kw’aylaxw.

Our future services include:

Primary Care

Services provided by family physicians (FP), nurse practitioners (NP), and nurses with a shared commitment to culturally safe, team-based primary care that is longitudinal and person-centered, and aligned through a PCN lens. This includes referral pathways for home care, long term care, and hospice care.

Allied Health

Range of preventative, therapeutic, and clinical support services provided by a range of disciplines, including social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and dieticians. Referral pathways to external agencies for substance use, harm reduction, fitness, dental, and social supports.
