She arrives in this new position with over 25 years of experience supporting Indigenous persons and communities in both frontline and leadership roles in social services, health, and as a mental health clinician.

In her role, she will be working to support and enhance traditional wellness initiatives for the community, fostering cultural connection and improving health outcomes.

In her role, Roni works with individuals and families including those living with chronic conditions, to help advance their health and wellness across the full spectrum of the health and social system, through access to services, wellness planning and increasing health literacy.
